What is Destination

In the new RTL4 program Destination ten unknown Dutch people go on an adventurous journey through Europe. That sounds pretty fantastic, but that’s not even the best part: the participants have no idea where they are going. They are put in a darkened bus and drive towards the mysterious final destination: Destination X.

During the journey, the candidates receive various assignments with which they can earn hints. The only question is: can they distinguish the correct clues from the deceptions? At the end of each episode they have to guess where they think they are. The person furthest wrong must leave the bus immediately. Until finally there are only two participants left. They compete against each other in the all-decisive final game.

Who presents Destination

In the Netherlands the presentation is in the hands of Nasrdin Dchar. You may know him from his role in, among other things Mocro Mafia, The Golden Hour or The 12 of Oldenheim. He also recently presented The Life Trail for Videoland with his good friend Walid Benmbarek.

Where does Destination X come from?

Destination X is – just like Wie Is de Mol? – originally a Flemish TV programme. In February 2023, the program was launched on VTM, which turned out to be very successful. The program not only achieved good viewing figures, but was also immediately purchased by NBCUniversal in the United States, the BBC in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. In addition, the program was awarded a Golden Rose in London, in the competition reality program category.

When can Destination X be seen in the Netherlands?

Grab your calendar quickly, because Destination it’s coming really fast now. From May 10, you can watch RTL4 every Friday from 8:00 PM for a new episode or the repeat on RTL5 every Saturday at 6:00 PM. The final will take place on July 5, 2024.

It is also expected that you can watch it again via Videoland.
