The late Matthew Perry refused to cheat on ‘Friends’. “The fans won’t forgive me for that.”

After the recent death of Matthew Perry, who we all know as Chandler from Friendsunknown anecdotes about his career emerge.

Perry declined, as he took on the role of Chandler Friends starred, taking part in a scene where he would cheat on his on-screen partner Monica Geller, played by Courteney Cox.

TMZ spoke with Lisa Cash, an actress who appeared in a 1999 fifth season episode titled The One in Vegas: Part 1. Ultimately, Cash was only given a small role in the show due to Perry’s strong objection to the scene of him having an affair with her.

In that episode in question, the writers had suggested Chandler and Monica have a heated argument in Las Vegas. In response, Chandler would order room service at his hotel, and the person who would deliver his meal was Cash, with whom he would then have a romantic experience.

Fans don’t like this

However, Perry vehemently opposed this idea, due to his concerns that it would not suit his character and the fans of the series would not forgive him.
