The new trailer for ‘Wednesday’ introduces you to Nevermore Academy.

Netflix released a new trailer for the upcoming Addams Family live action series called Wednesday. The series is directed by Tim Burton and the trailer serves as an infomercial, explaining more about Nevermore Academy. This is the boarding school where most of the series will take place.

The story, from smallvillecreators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, begins with a series of murders that haunt the town where Nevermore Academy is located. This school is a prestigious boarding school for misfits, where Wednesday Addams was sent.

New actors for familiar characters
In the series of eight episodes, the role of Wednesday Addams will be played by Jenna Ortega, who previously appeared in, among others, you and Jane the Virgin played. We also see Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Issac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Gwendoline Christie as director Larissa Weems, George Burcea as Lurch and Victor Dorobantu as Thing.

Further names include Thora Birch, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan and Percy Hynes White. Which characters they will play is still unknown.

A familiar face
In addition, Christina Ricci will also be seen in the new series. She played in the The Addams Family movies from the 90s the role of Wednesday. Her exact role this time has yet to be announced.
