Release date, price and trailer for SkyShowtime Europe

More than a year since SkyShowtime was first announced, the streamer is poised to join the streaming battle in Europe. Variety reports that. The new platform – a joint venture between Comcast and Paramount Global – will officially launch on September 20 in the Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, before launching in the Netherlands later this year in the fourth quarter.

What is the price of SkyShowtime? The monthly price of the streamer is €6.99 in Finland, €7.34 in Sweden, €7.92 in Norway and €9.27 in Denmark. It is expected that in the Netherlands we will pay about €7 per month for a membership. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed.

SkyShowtime is a joint streaming service of ViacomCBS and Comcast, two of the largest media companies in the United States. Some of the expected movies and series from the streaming service include, Halo, The Lost City, Top Gun: Maverick, Jurassic World Dominion, Boss Baby: Family Business, Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, Gangs of London, Nope, Despicable Me, The Wolf of Wall Street, Jaws, Indiana Jones, The Godfather, The Offer, 1883, Sing 2, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Billions and Star Trek.

SkyShowtime Netherlands

SkyShowtime Netherlands is a partnership between Comcast Corporation and Paramount. The new streaming service will be launched in the Netherlands and more than 20 European countries. The new streaming service will feature content from parties such as Sky, NBCUniversal, Universal Pictures, Peacock, Paramount+, Showtime, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon. At the start of the service, more than ten thousand hours of content will be available.
