Wakeboarder Viktor Maddens from Izegem has once again shown his form. After gold at the Belgian Championship wakeboarding at Les Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure in Froid-Chapelle and a final place in the European stop Beawake in Kuurne, Viktor now also won silver at the last stop of the [email protected]

“Yesterday I came second at the last stop of the [email protected] in Grevenmacher, Luxembourg”, 25-year-old Viktor says proudly. “I am very satisfied with this result and I also managed to finish second in the overall ranking.”

“The past few weeks have been going really well. The foreign delegation was always well represented and of a high level. Getting a place in the final and standing on the podium is therefore quite an achievement. The stop in Grevenmacher was the last stop of the [email protected] and also the last game of the season.”

“I also want to congratulate Tino Ullsperger on getting first place. He also won silver at the European stop in Kuurne. It is also great to see fellow West Fleming Arthur Lammens on the podium next to me in third place. He also showed fantastic runs in recent weeks and would like to congratulate him too.”

“The podium in the last stop is the same as the final standings. The German Tino wins the Lowlands, I follow in second and Arthur finishes third.”

The West Flemings did very well in Luxembourg. Michael Callebert from Izegem missed the podium in Grevenmacher and finished fourth. (RV)
