After the penultimate day of the World Scull Sailing Championship in Canada, Bart Lambriex and Floris van de Werken in the 49er as well as Odile van Aanholt and Annette Duetz in the 49erFX lead the ranking. The men are 24 points ahead and the women 11. With a single fleet race and a closing medal race to go on September 5, things look good for the Team Allianz sailors, but the gold is not yet certain.

It is certain that September 5 will not start after 2 p.m. local time in Hubbard’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada. That is 19:00 Dutch time.

It also looks like Laila van der Meer and Bjarne Bouwer will qualify for the medal race with the top ten teams in the Nacra17 catamaran class. At the time of publication, Canada is still sailing in this discipline.

The matches on September 5 can be seen live on the website of the class.
