Jarno Errens today gets the chance he had long hoped for, to make a debut with the largest MMA organization UFC. Just days before his debut, the Dutchman was told that he had been added to the UFC roster in Paris.
Perseverance wins is a proverb which certainly applies in the case of Errens in addition to training hard and performing. He achieved great success with other organizations and continued to bombard the UFC with videos of his fights, among other things. Tonight in Paris his opponent is William Gomis.
Gomis, who also makes his UFC debut, says he doesn’t want to miss Errens. A promise that will be difficult for the Frenchman to keep, given Errens’ previous fights. Big names already preceded the Limburger in the UFC.
Alistair Overeem, Stfan Struve, Germaine de Randamie and of course Bas Rutten and the first Dutchman at the UFC Gerard Gordeau. Errens has 5 fights on his contract but wants to leave a good first impression.
The fight between Errens and Gomis will be broadcast live on Discovery+ and Eurosport tonight from 8pm.
