The Belgian Cats have lost a practice match against France in Pau. After a 16-16 score and 41-36 deficit halfway through, Alexia Chartereau (13 points, 6 rebounds) and Ana Tadic (14 points) pushed through to a 58-49 bonus. In the final quarter no remonte of the Belgian Cats. Les Bleus walked further away to a 74-55 final score. Julie Vanloo signed for 13 points and 6 assists. They complete the play-offs in the WNBA with Chicago Sky and join the Cats after their American campaign.
Today fan day in KortrijkToday you can meet the Cats up close at the fan day in Kortrijk. At 2.30 pm, a players’ performance will start, hosted by Linde Merckpoel. Afterwards there will be time for a meet & greet with the fans. Numerous side activities will also take place, such as a photobooth, a fan shop and a shooting contest. The fan day is expected to end around 5:00 PM. “For the group of players, contact with the fans is very important,” explains forward Antonia Delaere. “The fact that we are organizing a fan day where we can really meet and talk to the fans face to face is therefore only positive.
