Stepfather/partner and other man arrested for double murder in Kraainem (Kraainem)

The police arrested two men on Friday for the double murder of March 24 in Kraainem. Coline (17) and her mother Magali (46) were killed there. The arrested men are the stepfather/partner of the victims and the man who allegedly carried out the murder.

On March 24 of this year, the emergency services were informed that a drama had taken place in the Annecylaan in Kraainem. The paramedics and police officers were confronted on the spot with a horrific scene. Magali W. (46), a teacher at a school in Anderlecht, and her 17-year-old daughter Coline, had been stabbed to death.

Two people were arrested in that file on Friday at the request of the investigating judge. It concerns the 51-year-old partner/stepfather of the victims, RTBF sound engineer Pierre D., who was arrested after the fact and was subsequently released on May 5. The other man is a 39-year-old Congolese man from Brussels, who is suspected of having committed the offenses on behalf of the victims’ partner/stepfather.

“Both persons will be questioned today and then brought before the investigating judge who will decide on their further arrest,” said the public prosecutor.
