The Public Prosecution Service is demanding more than 26 years in prison against Anouar T. for complicity in the murder of Derk Wiersum. That is the maximum penalty. Sezer B. has been sentenced to eighteen years in prison for his role in the murder of the lawyer.

According to the Public Prosecution Service, there is no doubt that T. is the leader of a group that prepared the murder by stealing cars used by the shooters. They also carried out preliminary reconnaissance at Wiersum’s home and his office.

The lawyer was shot dead in front of his home in Buitenveldert four years ago. The court sentenced the perpetrators of the murder to 30 years in prison at the beginning of this year. Justice has now set its sights on the organization behind the murder, which is said to be in charge of a cousin of Ridouan Taghi.

“The Public Prosecution Service considers it very important that in addition to those who carried out the murder, the people who collected the information, carried out preliminary investigations and ensured that the two shooters could commit the murder should also ultimately be held accountable. “, said press officer Mara van den Berg after an earlier hearing.
