October is over, but that doesn’t mean horror season is too: at the end of this month we’ll see the release of Thanksgiving, the new horror film from director Eli Roth (The Green Inferno, Death Wish).
We previously saw the trailer for the film, which is based on the fake trailer that Roth made for the double feature film Grindhouse by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Now we have a new poster.
Victims of a murderer
In the film, riots break out on Black Friday, after which a mysterious figure goes on a killing spree. In the poster we see the killer behind a lot of other characters. Many of these will undoubtedly not survive the film.
“A tribute to those classic ’90s slashers!” this is how Roth himself describes the poster on Instagram. The tagline on the poster reads: “There Will Be No Leftovers”.
Cast & Release Date
Thanksgiving will be released in Dutch cinemas on November 30. The cast includes Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Brooks Thomas, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman and Gina Gershon.
