Cegeka can call itself the proud owner of the HR Award 2023. The ICT group beat the other nominees Finvision and Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg on HR Day. “Cegeka succeeds in converting the local HR strategy into a global one, with respect for the individuality of the various locations,” said the jury.
With the annual HR Award, Voka Limburg wants to inspire and reward companies in Limburg that opt for an inclusive and sustainable HR policy. “Because an inclusive personnel policy attracts diverse talent and ensures that employees feel valued and respected. This contributes to the retention of qualified personnel,” says managing director Johann Leten. “It is important to develop a policy that takes into account the talents of your people and thus offers them all opportunities to develop these talents in the interests of the employee himself and the company.”
The coveted HR Award goes to the Hasselt ICT group Cegeka. “Their HR policy is a global strategy, but with respect for the individuality of the various locations,” says chairman of the jury Ann Verlinden. “Training and permanent development are central. The training offering is also well developed. An absolute asset is the way in which HR supports the business strategy. By focusing heavily on skill management, employees get a clear picture of their current and future skills, which also promotes internal mobility and career opportunities. In the war for talent, they also train their own employees to approach their own network. The entire personnel policy is also well supported by sophisticated IT systems. In short, Cegeka is a deserved winner of the HR Award 2023,” the jury chairman concludes.
