Majorette association wins extra Rabo prize – Hasselt Actueel

Majorette association Next Generation received a check for 1,000 euros from Rabobank on Thursday evening, November 9, in the Anna van der Breggen sports hall. This was the extra prize of the Rabo Club Support that could be won with the most original photo.

The photo of our ‘jealous’ girls in garbage bags looking at the few girls with nice packages ultimately turned out to be the winning photo. The board had the girls come to the sports hall in tracksuits for a surprise. They were pleasantly surprised when the check was presented. The board indicates that as a small, young majorette association, they are very proud of this. “We have grown rapidly in the past 1.5 years from 8 to 25 girls. We can therefore spend the money well on new suits for the new shows and on new batons.”

The competition season ended last Saturday at the Overijssels Championship with the placement of both our teams, a duo and a solo, for the National Championships on January 20 in Almere. The new competition season with the new shows will start in April 2024. The girls are already training hard to master the new shows.
