In the book Slow to Heaven they live together towards death. “Of course it is sad that my mother is no longer here. But she was there. She’s been here.”
Evi Hanssen is doing well. We spoke to her seven months after Arlette’s farewell, on the day the book hit the shelves. “I’m a little bit nervous. It is a closure and a new beginning at the same time. We really wrote this book together. It was nice to think this morning: ‘Aah… we did well, mother’.”
