Dekel Agri-Vision PLC – Agricultural company focused on West Africa – At the Ayenouan palm oil project in Ivory Coast, the number of fresh fruit bunches processed increased by 16% year-on-year in October to 8,886 tonnes from 7,661 tonnes a year earlier. Crude palm oil production increased by 2.8% from 1,677 tonnes to 1,723 tonnes. However, the average CPO price per tonne drops by 26% from EUR1,057 to EUR788. Furthermore, CPO sales decreased by 5.4% from 1,567 tons to 1,483 tons. The production of palm kernel oil increases by 15% from 131 tons to 150 tons. The average PKO sales price drops by 27% to 838 euros per tonne, compared to 1,151 euros. PKO sales decrease by 12% from 225 tons to 199 tons.
Executive Director Lincoln Moore said: “With two months remaining in 2023 and a strong start to November, palm oil activity remains on track to exceed CPO production, revenues and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization versus 2022 and we look forward to reporting a strong finish to the year.”
