Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Fien Germijns after six episodes. This means that Robin Pront can join the program for the fourth time tonight, while Jade Mintjens is going to her second episode. Tonight they will be joined by Manu Van Acker. This is where you know him from.
Tonight it’s already time for the last episode in the fourth week of The smartest person in the world. This means that we have already seen 17 participants and still have 17 participants to go. The second half of the participants is kicked off by Manu Van Acker.
Manu Van Acker
Manu Van Acker actually comes from Ostend, but stayed in Brussels after his studies at the RITCS. He started his career in 2022 with a small role in Uncles. There he played cashier Pascal in the supermarket where Carine also works. Later that same year he started working as a presenter at the radio station MNM, where he hosted the program Wake up with Van Acker presented, which started at 4 am. In the summer he was able to sleep in a little longer, because then he presented together with Family-actress Charlotte Sieben the normal morning block that started at 6 am. Manu Van Acker currently presents every Saturday and Sunday The MNM Weekend Team again with Charlotte Sieben.
Manu is also a regular face at VRT MAX, VRT’s online streaming service. There he presents Laughter is for Losers where two familiar faces have to try to contain their laughter. Manu recently also has his own section called ‘Jack of All Trades’ Everyone famous. He is also still active as an actor, as he was after his role Uncles can also be seen in the series Under fire and The last day and the short film Gayau.
Manu will soon also get his first own program on Play4. In The Perfect Picture Well-known Flemish people will compete against each other in various photography assignments. Manu is also not an unknown face for the loyal viewers of Play4, as he has already been featured in The Table of Four and Café De Mol.
