In recent weeks, Johan has been critical of the politician. While he used to speak highly of the BBB leader at the dinner table, he doesn’t seem to be particularly impressed with Caroline lately. He thinks that she appears on television too often. To break the ice, Caroline, as table guest, decides to bring a rose for the men. “A reconciliation rose,” she shouts as she hands one to Johan. He doesn’t understand it himself: “But we’re not arguing, are we?”
Still, he is pleasantly surprised with his gift. “It’s the first time I’ve gotten a rose,” says De Snor with a broad grin. Caroline has made sure there are no thorns on the rose, she assures him.
It seems that Caroline’s plan has worked, because after the gentlemen briefly explain why they have been so negative about Caroline – Johan thought that Caroline came out as a ‘silly thing’ in an interview with The Telegraph – the air has cleared again.
