The Hilversum winner of the Eurojackpot has registered just in time for the prize of 466,255.60 euros. The organization behind Eurojackpot had been looking for the winner for some time. In April, a major search was even launched to find the lucky one.
The organization behind Eurojackpot could not contact the winner itself because participants always remain anonymous. To redeem the prize, winners must report to the head office of the Dutch Lottery. The prize expires after one year.
Search
When the winner had still not come forward after six months, Eurojackpot started a search. Because the winning ticket was sold in the Albert Heijn on Langestraat in Hilversum on December 20, 2022, the organization assumed that the winner lived nearby. The organization tried to attract the attention of the winner in April with special Eurojackpot cargo bikes.
If a winner does not report, the winning amount goes back into the pot. The lucky person from Hilversum has now registered after all and will receive almost half a million euros into the account.
