Intruder steals laptop from elderly lady

A 76-year-old resident of a senior complex in Woerden was having a chat with her neighbors when an intruder ran away with her laptop. The lady had closed the door of her apartment, but it had not been locked. The perpetrator was probably waiting for such an opportunity and it is quite possible that he does this more often.

Please be wary of this type of practice: strangers who – for example, as in this case, while busy calling – walk into a residential complex. The man who struck at Park Oudeland in Woerden on Monday, March 13, 2023, may have tried several doors before he got the bite.

Fortunately for the investigation, the man was filmed in a recognizable manner. Please let the police know if you have any idea who he may be and/or where the police can find him.
The laptop that this intruder took is from the Lenovo brand. The device barely has any market value anymore, but its theft causes the victim a lot of grief. It contains important documents and precious family photos.
