The diesel price will go lower on Wednesday. The maximum price of fuel (B7) drops at the pump by 2.9 cents to 1.928 euros. This is reported by the Federal Public Service Economy.
The price of diesel had risen above the 2 euro mark in September and early October, reaching the highest level since November 2022 after a sustained increase. But in the meantime, the price of fuel is now below that symbolic limit again after some fluctuations.
Heating oil will also be cheaper on Wednesday. For orders of more than 2,000 liters, the maximum price of gas oil heating 50s decreases by 0.58 cents to 1.0286 euros per liter.
The price drops are due to fluctuations in the prices of oil products and biocomponents in fuel on international markets.
