PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (24) can prepare for a special evening on Tuesday evening on his return to San Siro in the Champions League. AC Milan fans have still not forgiven him for leaving for PSG on a free transfer in the summer of 2021.
AC Milan supporters have never forgiven Gianluigi Donnarumma for leaving for PSG on a free transfer in the summer of 2021. They plan to remind him of that when PSG comes to San Siro on matchday four of the Champions League. They will whistle at him throughout the matches and many other actions are planned.
The French newspaper Le Parisien says a Milan supporter who warns Donnarumma: “Donnarumma will experience how San Siro welcomes traitors. The problem is not that he left us, the problem is that he did so without giving the club a euro, while he said we were his family. Indeed, he grew up at Milan since he was fourteen and became the goalkeeper he has become, but he left like a thief.”
The ultras of the Curva Sud have had thousands of counterfeit banknotes printed that they want to throw at Donnarumma. A reference to the nickname he received following his free transfer to PSG: “Dollar-Rumma”.
An X-account of the Curva Sud showed a photo with pallets full of boxes with the caption: “Donnarumma, there is mail for you.”
The ultras would also wear T-shirts with the number 71, which represents a “man without honor” in the Neapolitan tradition in which Donnarumma grew up.
