Jack de Vries blackmailed Kim van Keken into revealing her bed secrets after the journalist from Vrij Nederland posted a critical tweet about him.
Van Keken responded critically on Sunday evening to a message in which De Vries was announced as one of the speakers of the election debate on Sunday evening on RTL.
She wrote: ‘Jack de Vries is a lobbyist for private homeowners. Moreover, he works for an agency and is not transparent about who he does lobbying jobs for.’
De Vries responded a few hours later with a mafia-style threat: ‘The moral high ground? Kim “Haagse Matras” from Keken…. Lots of sources. Your choice.’
Jack de Vries most likely referred to a relationship that Van Keken had with a spokesperson for D66 when she worked as a parliamentary journalist for de Volkskrant in The Hague. She made no secret of it herself.
Van Keken shared De Vries’ message early the next morning on X. The former spin doctor of the CDA and Strategy director of Hill + Knowlton was shocked.
