The Brazilian Grand Prix is a fact again. At the Interlagos circuit in the city of Sao Paulo, the victory just went to none other than Max Verstappen. Behind him, Lando Norris crossed the line in second. The third step on the podium was occupied by Fernando Alonso.

Even before the start of the Brazilian Grand Prix there was complete chaos. Charles Leclerc found himself in the tire pile instead of the starting box on the front row. The Monegasque had hydraulic problems that caused him to crash during the warm-up lap.

The race then started without Leclerc. Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton got away well and they followed behind Verstappen. Alexander Albon and Kevin Magnussen hit each other after which they flew hard into the wall. Both dropped out and the race management decided to wave the red flag. The cars of Oscar Piastri and Daniel Ricciardo were also damaged and the red flag was used as a repair opportunity.

Both Australians were allowed to participate in the restart, but they had to start from the pit lane and they were one lap behind.
