At the request of the public prosecutor’s office, the Federal Judicial Police has issued an investigation notice for acts of intentional assault and battery in Ostend. The camera footage shows how a young man deliberately struck at least 3 victims on the Zeedijk earlier this spring. The people with whom the suspect hung around are also being sought.
In the night of May 27 to 28, three victims on the Zeedijk in Ostend were suddenly beaten. The suspect ran away, but was filmed by several surveillance cameras in the city center. These images clearly show that the young man is hanging around in a group with five other young people. The suspect was spotted in Madridstraat and Langestraat with a young woman at his side.

The boy has dark, medium-length curly hair. At the time of the offense he was wearing dark jeans, a gray sweater from the Adidas brand, a black jacket and black shoes.
