Informal caregivers are invaluable to the people to whom they provide support and care. Informal caregivers and volunteers help a family member, friend or neighbor with practical daily tasks, such as cooking, shopping or cleaning.
Informal caregivers help with showering, ensure that medications are taken, and arrange administration and/or doctor appointments if necessary. The work of informal caregivers is extremely valuable to society and leads to a lower demand for care.
Heiloo-2000 believes it is important that we reflect on the great importance of informal caregivers in general. We all have to deal with it. Location manager “de Loet” Caroline Lalieu will give a presentation. Councilor Antoine Tromp will be present where you can ask questions afterwards.
