Matthew Perry met up with model Athenna Crosby just before his death: “Indeed, I was one of the last people to speak to him”

A day before his death, Friends actor Matthew Perry (54) was spotted at a restaurant with a young woman. Athenna Crosby (25), the woman in question, now talks about that dinner on Instagram.

“I wasn’t going to talk about this,” model and actress Athenna Crossby wrote on Instagram stories with a photo of Perry. The 25-year-old model decided to tell her story on Instagram after everyone started wondering who the mysterious woman was with whom Perry had been seen the day before his death.

“I would like to say that I had the honor of knowing Matthew personally. I am so devastated by his death, but I felt it was in poor taste to talk about it publicly. Because the focus shouldn’t be on me, it should be on him and his legacy. He was an extremely private person. I have always respected that in our friendship,” she writes. “But indeed, we were friends and I was one of the last people to speak to and see him before he passed away.”

According to the woman, Matthew was in an “extremely good mood” at the time. According to her, he was also talking enthusiastically about all the things he would still do. “He was so happy and lively.” According to TMZ Matthew was so busy at the time of their conversation that he barely ate or drank.

Perry died Saturday in his jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home. After an initial investigation, no traces of fentanyl and meth appear to have been found. It was his assistant who found him.
