On December 22, 2021, the police raided BB’s home. 21 paxons of cocaine, more than 5,000 euros in cash, mobile phones, two precision scales and expensive watches were found. Customer inquiries revealed that the man had been dealing for two years. According to the OM, he sold a total of one and a half kilograms of cocaine to at least ninety customers. He was mainly active in the vicinity of the Gentpoort.
According to his lawyer, the Albanian’s own cocaine use had gotten out of hand. “He started selling to friends and acquaintances,” pleaded Master Amber Lumbeeck. “But after the birth of his daughter, he stopped doing that and since his release from prison he has been complying with his conditions properly.”
In addition to 71,000 euros, the public prosecutor also wanted to confiscate BB’s Mercedes. “But he still pays it off and has never used it for his drug trade,” said Master Lumbeeck. The Bruges court reduced the confiscation to 20,000 euros. His car can keep BB.
During a holiday, BB’s business was taken over by Serbian BD (28) from Ghent. He was sentenced to a year in prison for his part.
