ASUS will release its Zenbook 17 Fold OLED in Europe at the end of this year. The laptop has a foldable and touch-sensitive OLED screen. The laptop has a suggested retail price of 3,699 euros in the Netherlands.
The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is expected in Europe in the fourth quarter of this year, ASUS writes in a press release. The laptop will then be available in the Netherlands, among other places. It is not clear from the press release whether the device will be available in Belgium.
ASUS announced the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED earlier this year at CES in January. The foldable laptop has an OLED touchscreen with a screen diagonal of 17.3 inches. The laptop can be used as a kind of tablet, but can also function as a laptop by folding up half of the screen and using the bottom half as a keyboard. The device then has a workspace that corresponds to a 12.5″ panel with 3:2 ratio and a resolution of 1920×1280 pixels.
The device contains an Intel Core U processor from the Alder Lake generation with 16GB of memory. The battery capacity is 75Wh. In the edge of the screen is a 5-megapixel webcam. ASUS also includes a physical Bluetooth keyboard, which can be used separately and attached to the bottom half of the device with magnets. When unfolded, the device is 8.7 mm thick and when closed it is 17.4 mm.
