iPhone 16 Pro screen becomes brighter (this is useful now)

According to a rumor on Weibo, Apple will improve the screen brightness of the iPhone 16 Pro. This has also happened with previous iPhones, but it wasn’t of much use back then.

With the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple also announced that the brightness of the screen had been significantly increased. The brightness had increased by 400 nits. But that was only when you watched HDR content. For normal content you were still at the standard brightness of 1000 nits.

According to the latest rumors, this is no longer the case with the iPhone 16 Pro. Because then the clarity will be a lot better for all types of content. According to the rumor, the number of nits on the iPhone 16 Pro is approaching 1200 nits. The screen is then about 20 percent brighter. This makes the iPhone screen easier to read in full sunlight (and will dazzle you even more at night).

iPhone 16 (Pro) will be released in September

Apple will make even more changes to the iPhone 16 Pro this year. The phone will be slightly larger and will have a 6.3-inch screen. The iPhone 15 Pro still had a 6.1-inch screen, so the next top device will be a bit bigger.

On the Pro models, the Face ID sensor also disappears under the screen, making the Dynamic Island redundant. As with the iPhone 15 series, ProMotion is limited to the Pro models, which means that the regular iPhones will once again not have an always-on screen this year.
