Developer Gameloft has unveiled an extensive roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley via a livestream. The studio revealed the first expansion for the title, as well as some upcoming updates that will follow after the official release.
As you know, Disney Dreamlight Valley will leave the early access stage on December 5. Instead of a free-to-play experience, the game will be a premium release with different editions.
On launch day, the latest major update for the game will also go live. It adds a multiplayer mode, where four players can visit each other’s Valley. The new character introduced is Jack Skellington, the familiar one Pumpkin King from The Nightmare before Christmas by Tim Burton.
Also launching on December 5 is the game’s first expansion: A Rift in Time. The expansion takes place on the brand new Eternity Isle, which has three regions: Ancient’s Landing, Glittering Dunes and Wild Tangle. The story is told in three chapters.
The first chapter, Welcome to Eternity Isle, stars Gaston, Rapunzel and Eve. The second chapter, The Spark of Imagination, will follow in the spring of 2024. Later in the summer of 2024 we will get Treasures of Time.
