Samsung has published a list of all Galaxy smartphones that will be upgraded to Android 14.
With the launch of the Google Pixel phones on October 12, Android 14 is also officially available to manufacturers. Samsung bundles Android 14 together with a new Android shell, One UI 6.0. It contains many new functions and focuses strongly on the camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 devices are the first to receive the update. The software update is currently being rolled out to these smartphones.
With the availability of Android 14, Samsung has published a list of all devices that are guaranteed to receive an update. These Galaxy S devices will be available in the coming months:
- Galaxy S23 series
- Galaxy S22 series
- Galaxy S21 series
- Galaxy S20 series
Of all Samsung’s foldable devices, only the original Galaxy Fold will not be upgraded to Android 14. All other models will:
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Fold 2
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 5G
- Galaxy Z Flip
Finally, these devices will also receive an upgrade to Android 14:
- Galaxy Note 20 series
- Galaxy A54
- Galaxy A53
This is the list that Samsung confirmed today. Whether any more devices will be added to the list this year or in 2024 is anyone’s guess.
