The Jupiler Pro League is currently nine match days away. Antwerp is still resolutely in the lead with 27 out of 27, followed by KRC Genk and Club Brugge.

In those nine days there was already a lot to experience, both on and off the field. Following some incidents with supporters, the Pro League has decided to hand out fines to Anderlecht, Club Brugge, AA Gent and KV Mechelen.

RSC Anderlecht has been fined for pelting Union goalkeeper Morris with drinking cups. Combined with the pyrotechnic material that was ignited, that amounts to a fine of € 2,000, reports Sudinfo.

On the sixth day of play, both the supporters of Club Brugge and those of KV Mechelen decided to shake things up. Club has to pay a fine of €750 and KV Mechelen one of €1,000 for this.

But the biggest sanction is imposed on AA Gent. A 12-year-old supporter of the Buffalos decided to throw a bottle and cups of water at the head of referee Nicolas Laforge in the match against Antwerp. For this, the disciplinary committee punished AA Gent with a fine of € 5,000.
