In the Challenger Pro League, two games of the fifth match day were scheduled on Friday evening.

Lierse K. – Dender

Leader Lierse K. faced last in the standings, Dender. It was Lierse that opened the score after 36 minutes via Joedrick Pupe. Five minutes later, Dender equalized via Kobe Cools. And before half time it also became 1-2 for Lierse via a goal from Thibaut Van Acker.

Beerschot – Lommel SK

The match started dramatically for Beerschot with a red card for Dante Rigo after 23 minutes. And a minute before half time, Lommel took the lead via Cauê, who headed in a hard cross.

Beerschot tried, but it was difficult to make a fist with one man less. In the final phase, it even swallowed a second goal. Martinez recorded the 0-2 final score.

Beerschot thus remains behind with 4 out of 12 and sinks into the standings.
