Charles De Ketelaere started Saturday in the base at AC Milan for the Milan derby. He made a mistake at Inter’s 0-1 and that gave him bad points.

Charles De Ketelaere faced Marcelo Brozovic in his first Milan derby as a direct opponent. At 29, the Croat is already a bit ordinary and was not impressed by De Ketelaere.

After twenty minutes, the Red Devil released Brozovic in an action and the Croat was able to go after goalkeeper Handanovic and make the 0-1. CDK recovered and made sure that Brozovic got yellow and had a head chance for a corner nine minutes before half time.

In the end, AC Milan won the derby with two goals from Leão and one from Giroud. Dzeko still scored for Inter.

The mistake De Ketelaere made at the 0-1 gave him a 5.5 at La Gazzetta dello Sport. “De Ketelaere didn’t live up to expectations, maybe they were too high. Brozovic gave him a difficult first quarter. CDK recovered afterwards, but couldn’t conjure a ball like that enchanting pass against Bologna this time.” was the tenor in the pink paper.
