There will soon be four Belgians playing at AC Milan. Aster Vranckx (19) is about to leave Wolfsburg for the champion of Italy. The midfielder already landed in Italy on Wednesday evening and will take his medical tests on Thursday.

According to Italian sources, AC Milan rents Vranckx for one season from Wolfsburg and pays 1 million euros for it. The deal also includes a purchase option of 12 million. When that is lifted, Vranckx signs for four seasons.
The young Belgian midfielder made an impression in Wolfsburg’s midfield last season, but this season only had few opportunities from new coach Niko Kovac. The versatile midfielder broke through in 2019 at KV Mechelen, which sold him to Wolfsburg last summer for 8 million. At Milan, he can play again in the Champions League as a teammate of Charles De Ketelaere, Divock Origi and Alexis Saelemaekers.
