Oud-Heverlee Leuven announced an outgoing transfer today. The Jupiler Pro League club has announced the departure of Raz Shlomo. They make heavy losses in just a few months.

Shlomo leaves OHL

“Israeli central defender Raz Shlomo is leaving for his home country. Shlomo will be transferred to the Israeli top club Maccabi Tel Aviv FC. Shlomo came over from Maccabi Netanya in the summer of last year,” it said.

“The central defender made his debut for OH Leuven on the field of Cercle Brugge, where he also scored a header goal. Shlomo made a total of eleven appearances for the club. After half a season, however, he permanently returned to Israel, where he signs with Maccabi Tel Aviv FC.”

350,000 euros loss

OHL signed Shlomo from Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer for 1.1 million euros. The club from Leuven is now selling him for 750,000 euros. So they make a loss of 350,000 euros in just a few months.
