For some first-year students, Deadline Day will be a bit busier than others. One of the teams where there still seems to be the most movement is RWDM. The PhD candidate was already very active this month because he still has to fight for preservation, but he still has many plans.

With Carlos Alberto, Sampaio, Sousa (all Botafogo), Sarr (Lyon), Adaramola (Crystal Palace) and Makosso (Sochaux), six new players have already arrived in Molenbeek this month, while during the day the arrival of Soelle Soelle (KV Mechelen) would be completed.

Kylian Hazard leaves RWDM

But all these newcomers also mean that players have to leave. Florian Le Joncour has already signed with the German second division club Elversberg and AA Gent continues to attract Mickaël Biron, but La Dernière Heure know that there are still some surprising transfers to come at RWDM.

Kylian Hazard is also about to leave. The younger brother of Eden and Thorgan played a huge role in promotion last season, as he scored no fewer than six goals and seven assists in ten matches in the play-offs. However, during the preparation he suffered a serious knee injury, from which he is still recovering.

SK Beveren brings in Hazard

Despite this, Hazard would now leave RWDM and return to the Challenger Pro League. SK Beveren would like to welcome him there with open arms. Series rival Zulte Waregem would also come shopping in the Edmond Machtens Stadium.

Essevee would take over Jonathan Heris. The experienced defender was no longer included in Claudio Caçapa’s plans and was out of contract anyway. The 33-year-old, who made fourteen appearances this season, only needs to arrange a few details about the termination of his contract and can then be reunited with trainer Vincent Euvrard at the Gaverbeek.
