It is the first time since 2021 that the Tour will start in France. In 2022 the riders left from Copenhagen, in 2023 Bilbao was the starting point and next year Florence will have the honor of organizing the Grand Départ.
Further details about the Grand Départ 2025 are not yet known. It is therefore not clear whether the cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix will be visited in the first stages, nor where the first stages will start and finish. This will be revealed during a press conference on Thursday, November 30 in Lille.
Well writes La Voix du Nord that the first stage will start in Lille. According to regional media, there would be four stages in the Hauts-de-France region. The platoon would then descend along the west coast of France towards Normandy and then Brittany, reports said Ouest France.
