PSV recorded a big win against PEC Zwolle on Sunday afternoon on the twelfth matchday of the Eredivisie. The leader won 4-0 at home. Red Devil Johan Bakayoko (20) was once again one of the standouts with two assists. PSV remains clear in the competition and goes into the international break with a perfect 36 out of 36.

The balance of power between the leader and the number eight in the standings quickly became clear in the Philips Stadium. After just five minutes, Hirving Lozano gave the home team the lead. Halfway through the first half, Bakayoko gave Guus Til the 2-0. The young attacker was the leader again after the break. His corner was headed against the ropes by captain Luuk de Jong.

Twenty minutes before the end, Bakayoko was called to the side. At that moment, Yorbe Vertessen entered the field. However, the young attacker was unable to brighten up his appearance with a goal or assist. The young American Malik Tillman (78.) did. He ensured the 4-0 final score.

Ajax sees its third victory in a row slip through its fingers

Ajax let a third consecutive league victory slip through their fingers on Sunday afternoon. On the twelfth matchday of the Eredivisie, the Amsterdam team did not get further than a draw against Almere, which scored the 2-2 equalizer in injury time. Due to the draw, Ajax rises in the rankings, but remains in the right column. With twelve points it goes from thirteenth to twelfth place.

The first half hardly provided any spectacle, but in the second period both teams immediately created danger. Almere scored a few minutes after the restart, but was whistled back by the line judge. Ajax hit the post not much later. Almere was ultimately the first to break the spell after Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp (67.) completed a counterattack. Ajax turned around the lopsided situation with goals from Chuba Akpom (68.) and Benjamin Tahirovic (82.), but still left the field disappointed after a late penalty goal from Thomas Robinet (90.+3).
