Paraglider crashes into driveway in Affligem

The pilot of a paramotor crashed this morning in the driveway of a house in Affligem. The man was taken to hospital by medical services.

The accident happened near Hof Terelst. The victim was probably surprised by turbulence or the thermals that fell over a number of trees, although the investigation has to prove this with certainty.

The Flemish Brabant West fire department, among others, was called upon to help. The deployment of the corps was limited to reconnaissance and security of the site.
