Another prominent Russian has been killed in suspicious circumstances. The fifteenth since the start of the invasion of Ukraine. Anatoly Gerashchenko, former head of the Aviation Institute (MAI) in Moscow, fell down the stairs and did not survive.
MAI is one of Russia’s leading space technology scientific research institutes. It is closely associated with Putin’s defense ministry. Gerashchenko (73) worked his way up to director of the institute as an engineer but died today in mysterious circumstances. He would have fallen down the stairs. There were no witnesses. He was instant dead.
It is the fifteenth influential Russian to die in suspicious circumstances in more than six months. Even if it was an accident, according to the police.
“On September 21, 2022, Anatoly Nikolaevich Gerashchenko, doctor of technical sciences, professor and advisor to the rector of the Moscow Aviation Institute, died as a result of an accident,” the MAI press service announced the death.
His suspicious death comes a week after Vladimir Putin’s man for developing Russia’s vast Arctic resources “fell overboard” while sailing.
Previously, three top men died in a family drama, one was poisoned with toad poison and another fell from the window of a hospital in Moscow.
