Upcoming Epyc lineup shared on Twitter: top model 9754 has 128 cores

@yuuki_ans has the

shared on Twitter. The top model, the Epyc 9754, has 128 cores; twice as much as its predecessor.

The new Epyc lineup.

It looks like the fourth generation of Epyc server processors will consist of 16 models. The entry-level model, the Epyc 9124, also already has 16 cores. The 96-core 9654, of which we saw pictures last month (which also came from @yuuki_ans by the way), is also there.

Cache memory of the Epycs.

In another image we also see the amount of cache memory: 256 MB in the case of the 9754. The 9654 has a little more: 384 MB. In the course of 2023, 3d v-cache versions of the Epycs are also expected, which will have up to more than a gigabyte of cache memory.

Assuming the screenshots are real, these appear to be documents from AMD itself, with a so-called ‘NDA’ (non-disclosure agreement). So someone didn’t quite stick to that.

The new Epycs are expected at the end of this year. Videocardz has already made a nice overview of all the information that is known so far:
