The RMI will issue code yellow tomorrow for heavy gusts of wind. Inland, speeds of 65 to 75 km/h must be taken into account, while at the sea it becomes a bit faster (up to 80 km/h). The warning applies to the entire country, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The forecast for the coming week looks mainly wet. “It’s not yet spring, but the temperatures are already moving in the right direction,” says our weatherman Frank Duboccage.

This afternoon it will be variable to heavily cloudy with some local rain initially. The RMI expects rain or showers towards the evening, which may be locally intense and thundery. The maximum temperatures are between 14 degrees on the Ardennes Heights and 17 to 18 degrees in the Kempen.
In the second part of the night it will remain fairly cloudy with some precipitation. At the end of the night some clear spells develop from the French border.
The minimum temperatures are between about 10 degrees on the Ardennes relief and 12 to 13 degrees in the north of the country. The southeasterly wind turns southerly and becomes moderate to quite strong towards the morning, with local gusts of up to 50 or 60 kilometers per hour.
Sunday we will get a variety of clear skies and cloud fields, and there may be a shower here and there. A more pronounced squall line is likely to develop over the central part of the country by evening.
The RMI also expects gusts of around 65 or 75 kilometers per hour inland and up to 75 or 80 kilometers per hour on the coast. The maximum temperatures are between 12 and 13 degrees at the sea and in the Ardennes and 16 or 17 degrees in the Kempen.
There may be some showers on Sunday evening, especially in the central part of the country. Afterwards it will be largely dry with broad clear spells.
Monday the weather becomes calmer and often dry. The maximum temperatures rise from 14 to 19 degrees. The following days it will be quite mild up to 22 degrees, but with showers.
