In less than three weeks we will know the Belgian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Mustii’s song will be announced on Tuesday, February 20.

The Eurovision Song Contest is getting closer and more and more countries are submitting their entries. For example, last weekend we heard the submissions from Ireland and Luxembourg. Next weekend, Malta, Norway, Finland, Spain and Ukraine will announce their entries.

Mustii

We will have to wait a little longer for the Belgian entry. The website Eurovision.be namely heard of Le Soir and RTBF that our country’s song will be announced on Tuesday, February 20. It is not yet entirely clear how that will happen.

Belgium will be represented in Malmö, Sweden by 33-year-old Brussels singer Thomas Mustin, better known as Mustii. Not much is known about his song yet. Mustii did share one short sentence last month that fans could sing themselves. This way you had the chance to be heard at the Eurovision Song Contest in its virtual background choir. According to Le Soir about 1,000 people are said to have responded to that call. Half of this will also be used as the background choir for Mustii at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Second semi-final

Belgium will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in the second semi-final on Thursday, May 9. If our country manages to place among the top ten, it is assured of a place in the grand final on Saturday, May 11.
