--

Today will start out cloudy and rainy, but in the afternoon there will be broader clearance from the west and the chance of showers will decrease. The maximum temperatures fluctuate between 7 degrees in the High Fens, 11 or 12 degrees in Flanders and up to 13 degrees at the sea, the RMI reports. Gusts of up to 60 to 70 kilometers per hour are expected inland, but our country will be spared a real storm this weekend and in the coming days, says weatherman David Dehenauw.

Tonight and tonight it will remain heavily cloudy with some clear spells, but also showers. The minimum temperatures are between 5 degrees in the High Fens and 9 or 10 degrees in Flanders. The southwest wind is moderate to locally quite strong, with gusts of up to 50 to 60 kilometers per hour.

While storm Domingos will cause chaos, especially in France and Spain, our country will be spared, according to weatherman David Dehenauw. “There will be no storms here and it will remain that way in the coming days,” he predicts.

Monday it is in most places partly cloudy. The chance of showers is greatest in the Ardennes and in the northwest of the country, where even some thunderclaps are possible. The maximum temperatures are between 7 degrees in the High Fens and 12 degrees at sea. The wind will be quite strong, and strong from the southwest at sea with peaks around 60 kilometers per hour.

Also Tuesday some showers are expected. Elsewhere it will remain largely dry. The maximum temperatures fluctuate between 7 and 12 degrees in Flanders. The southwest wind is moderate to quite strong with gusts of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour.

Wednesday starts with low clouds in the Ardennes and some clear skies in other places. The cloud cover increases quite quickly and a new rain zone reaches our country from the west in the afternoon. We achieve maximum temperatures of 7 degrees on the Ardennes plateau to 12 degrees near the sea. There is a moderate to fairly strong south to southwest wind, and at sea the wind is sometimes strong.

Thursday the rain zone quickly leaves our country via the southeast at the beginning of the day. Afterwards it will be partly cloudy with some showers in the coastal region. With a moderate to fairly strong southwest wind, the mercury will not rise higher than 6 to 11 degrees.

Also Friday there is a chance of showers. It remains fresh with maximum temperatures of 6 to 11 degrees.
