So the sequel has been in development for a while and the crew is tight-lipped about all the details. But now Disney finally seems poised to reveal more.
Later today or tomorrow a first teaser trailer is secretly expected (including the announcement of the film title) and in anticipation of that, photos have been released of some character costumes from the James Mangold-led follow-up.
It is clear that Indy herself (Harrison Ford will look familiar as usual with Phoebe Waller-Bridge by his side as adventurer/femme fatale Helena in almost identical clothing, showing similarities to Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen).
In addition, Mads Mikkelsen wears an obvious Nazi villain coat and hat reminiscent of Ronald Lacey’s character Major Arnold Toht from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).
Indiana Jones 5 hits theaters worldwide in late June 2023.
