Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was almost in serious trouble at the hands of actress Letitia Wright. That tells Deadline reporter Justin Knoll.

Knoll appeared on the podcast The Town with Matt Bellonic and revealed that the shooting of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever were quite disturbed by some of the things Wright did.

In particular, the actress’s stance on the coronavirus vaccine was problematic for film studio Marvel Studios. Not only that: when she had to return to the UK to resume shooting in November 2021, the fact that her vaccination status was unknown was a real problem for the studio.

After all, Wright couldn’t return to filming if she hadn’t received a vaccine.

Wright’s troubles began in December 2020, when she spouted anti-vaccine rhetoric, as well as anti-trans messages on her now-deleted Twitter account.

Wright is said to have shared those opinions on set, which in turn led to problems. Incidentally, she herself denied that she misbehaved on the film set. Marvel Studios and Disney have not responded.
