Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige responds to Robert Downey Jr.’s return in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Rumors continue to circulate that Robert Downey Jr. returns for additional Marvel adventures. The big question now is, is this even correct? None other than the great Marvel boss, Kevin Feige, is now making himself heard.

In the last few weeks, a number of articles have been published on FilmTotaal about Downey’s possible return. Rumor has it that he might become a villain, or that all six of the original Avengers might return, including Scarlett Johansson’s fallen Black Widow.

Feige speaks briefly but powerfully about it. Thus he says:We haven’t had any conversations about it yet and that’s the truth. What I can tell you is that we are working on a project with Scarlett“.

“As for Robert, I really love him. He is family. We have yet to see whether he returnsDespite not saying yes or no, it’s curious that Feige doesn’t completely rule out the possibility, suggesting it’s a serious option.

Johansson
Johansson spoke out last June about her mysterious new collaboration with Marvel. At the time she said the following:It will certainly happen, yes. We are not working on it at the moment due to the strike, but as soon as this is over we will pick it up again“.
