To date, a total of 47 films, (animated) series and specials have been released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you want to watch everything, you will be busy for many days, but in return you will of course get the most successful franchise of all time.
Now that The Marvels is coming, we look at the viewing order of the MCU. The lists below only include films, series and specials. The one-shots and the many related films and series are not included, such as the The Defendersseries from Netflix and the films from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.

Order of viewing
The viewing order is of course very different. For example, films such as Captain America: The First Avenger (Phase 1) and Captain Marvel (Phase 3) are set in the past and Black Widow belongs to Phase 3 rather than Phase 4.
