Brussels green space increased, but unevenly distributed

In the Pentagon and first crown, the Warande Park and the Cinquantenaire Park are the only large green areas. According to the BISA, the cause lies mainly in significant population growth in the Pentagon and the first crown, “where population density is putting increasing pressure on existing green spaces.”
